Jimmy Heidelberg has been appointed by Governor Tate Reeves to serve as a Commissioner of the Jackson County Port Authority. The JCPA manages the Port of Pascagoula which is a world-class multi-use industrial port. Heidelberg is a lifelong resident of Pascagoula and has practiced law in Pascagoula since 1977. He has also served his city, county, and his state in several public service positions such as the MS Oil and Gas Board, the MS Bar, MS Judicial Appointment Advisory Committee, MS Judicial Election Oversight Committee, counsel to the MS Windpool Underwriting Association, and a number of other public service positions while maintaining his law practice on the MS Gulf Coast.
