Lt. Governor Tate Reeves has nominated Jimmy Heidelberg for a third term on the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board. If confirmed by the Mississippi Senate, Jimmy will serve a four year term ending April 30, 2020.
The Oil and Gas Board is charged “to foster, encourage and promote the development, production and utilization of the natural resources of oil and gas in the State of Mississippi” As a member of the five person Board, Jimmy will be responsible for authorizing and supervising the monitoring oil and gas production within Mississippi. During his two prior terms, Jimmy has served as Chairman and twice as Vice-Chairman.
